Alberta Rural Health Week

May 25 – 29, 2020

One of the keys to a vibrant community is a strong health care network.  We are fortunate in the Tofield, Ryley, and Beaver County region to have the wonderful Tofield Health Care Centre, medical clinic, pharmacies, and top-notch ambulance service.  These are facilities are successful because of the dedication shown by their health care professionals and support staff.

We would also like to acknowledge the members of the Tofield and Ryley stations with Beaver Emergency Services, who play an active role in medical first response.

In addition, the Primary Care Network (PCN) and the Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP) play a key role in enhancing health services here.

In honour of Alberta Rural Health Week and on behalf of the Tofield and Area Health Services Foundation, we salute you and thank all of you for your contributions in striving to keep our area healthy.

Welcome our New doctor

Tofield and area now has a third Doctor, as Dr. Racha Sabha (pictured centre below) opened her practice at the Tofield Medical Clinic in March.

“On behalf of the Tofield and Area Health Foundation, I would like to welcome Dr. Racha Sabha to our community. Your arrival has been long awaited by our family, citizens, and existing doctors. We wish you much success in your new practice”.

“On behalf of the Community Attraction and Retention Committee (CARC) I would like to welcome Dr. Racha Sabha to Tofield while she services Tofield, Ryley, and Beaver County Residents. We have long been waiting for a third physician to fill the needs of all our communities and to compliment the two physicians already in practice at the Tofield Medical Clinic. When you see Dr. Sabha, Dr. Jallad, or Dr. Abuzehar out and about, please remember to give them a big hello and thank them for wanting to make Tofield and area their new home. We look forward to seeing them for many years to come."

Helping to drive Healthcare innovation

Who are we?
What do we do?

Who are we?

We are a registered Alberta charity and have been operating since 2004. Our goal is to help drive innovation through our local health care providers.

Our Mission

To preserve, protect, and enhance the role of the Tofield Health Centre and associated providers of health care services to Tofield, Ryley, Holden, and surrounding communities.

What do we do?

Alberta Health Services (AHS) relies on foundations, like ours, to gather community support, develop partnerships, and raise critically needed funds to build excellence within our system - further enhancing the care delivered to our community members.

Involved in the Community

All funds raised stayed within our community, supporting health education and equipment needs at the Tofield Health Centre. We also work to attract physicians to and support those here inour community, as well.
